Hike & Bike Hub is a community-led social enterprise located on Douglas Bridge in Galashiels. As a registered charity and inclusive employer, it promotes health and wellbeing through leisure activities across the beautiful Scottish Borders.
The Hub is notable for its commitment to neurodiversity and accessibility. Visitors will find a decorated bike outside, originally created for a 2022 town competition. The facility operates on a "pay what you can" basis to ensure everyone can participate in their local festivals and services.
Visitors can hire various cycles, including e-bikes, trikes, and children’s bikes, or access professional repairs. You can join regular led rides, guided walks, or the Spring and Autumn festivals. The Hub also provides route information and suggestions for places to visit, welcoming muddy boots and paws alike.
