Buckholm Circular Walk
9 minute walk from Galashiels station · Edinburgh and South East · Free entry

A 6 mile, approximately 3.5 hour, walk taking in woodland, farmland, a burn and a 16th century tower. You'll pass Dobie's Grave Path - according to local legend in 1790 Dobie accepted a wager to play his bagpipes all the way from Lauder to Galashiels. However he collapsed and died at the spot where a pile of stones now marks his grave.
