The Clydeside Distillery
14 minute walk from Exhibition Centre (Glasgow) station · Glasgow and West Central

The Clydeside Distillery is a Scotch whisky distillery located at a historic quayside on the River Clyde in Glasgow. Established in 2017, it became the city's second active distillery in over a century. Production uses water sourced from Loch Katrine in the nearby Trossachs area to create a Lowland style single malt.
The site is significant for its history, as it occupies the old dock pumphouse originally built in 1877 by John Morrison. Following a £10.5 million refurbishment, the building now connects the Morrison family's engineering legacy with their whisky heritage. Inside, visitors can see two massive Forsyth-made stills, each weighing approximately two tonnes.
Guests can enjoy interactive tours to learn about the spirit-making process and the first single malt release, Stobcross. The facility also features a café and a shop for visitors to explore. It is a unique destination that celebrates Glasgow’s industrial past and its modern whisky production.
