Riverside Museum
10 minute walk from Partick station · Glasgow and West Central

Located in the Partick area of Glasgow, the Riverside Museum is an award-winning building designed by Zaha Hadid Architects. Situated at Pointhouse Quay on the River Clyde, this landmark opened in 2011 as a central part of the Glasgow Harbour regeneration project.
The museum is home to exhibits of national and international importance, winning the 2013 European Museum of the Year Award. Visitors can explore the world’s leading collection of Scottish-built cars and trucks, alongside a vast display of ship models that celebrate the maritime history of the River Clyde.
You can experience the atmosphere of 1930s Glasgow by wandering through "Kelvin Street," a life-sized reconstruction featuring a cinema and a subway station. Outside, the museum’s location enables the tall ship Glenlee and other craft to berth alongside, offering a unique look at the city's heritage.
