St Bride’s Parish Church is a Church of Scotland site in Sanquhar, built in 1823 on the grounds of an earlier church. Designed by James Thomson in a Georgian Gothic style, this Category B listed building serves as the local parish church and features a large graveyard.
The architecture is notable for its tower with four pinnacles and a nave decorated with buttresses and gothic windows. Inside, visitors can see oak panelling, an open wooden roof, and a gallery. The chancel, organ chamber, and vestry were later additions that enhanced the church's detailed stonework.
Visitors can explore a collection of historic items in the transept, including a kirk session minute book from 1696. The interior also features stained glass from 1930 and visible organ pipes. Access to the church is available by arrangement.
