Dundee United (Tannadice Park)

Tannadice Park, officially known as The CalForth Construction Arena, is a historic football stadium in Dundee. Since its founding in 1909, it has served as the home ground for Dundee United. The stadium currently features an all-seated layout with a capacity of 14,223 spectators.

The site is notable for its long history, having been used for football since the 1870s when the area was open countryside. It is famously located just 200 yards from Dens Park, making these two the closest senior football grounds in the UK. The stadium is also home to Scotland’s first cantilevered stand, the Jerry Kerr Stand, which was built in 1962 to provide column-free viewing.

Visitors can enjoy a modern matchday experience in an arena that includes the two-tiered George Fox and Eddie Thompson stands. A walk around the grounds reveals the unique L-shape of the Jerry Kerr Stand and seating that spells out 'DUFC'. Despite extensive renovations to level the pitch in the 1920s, a natural two-metre slope remains visible from the north-west to the south-east of the field.
