St Andrew’s is a Catholic cathedral located in Dundee’s West End. As the oldest Catholic church in the city, it serves as the seat of the Bishop of Dunkeld. This Victorian Gothic building was designed by George Mathewson and opened in 1836.
Visitors will find a unique interior where the floor slopes toward a sanctuary that sits significantly higher than the main body of the church. Notable features include a statue of Saint Andrew, two side altars, and a representation of the Pietà. You can also attend Sunday Mass at 11 am or 6 pm.
