Barnhill Rock Garden is a beautiful two-hectare public park in Dundee. Established in 1955 on a former golf course, it is maintained by the City Council with dedicated support from the Friends of the Barnhill Rock Garden.
This award-winning destination was the first in the city to receive a Green Flag Award and is featured on the Visit Scotland tourist trail. It is home to unique rock formations from Carmylie Quarry and tranquil water features added in the 1980s.
Visitors can enjoy a haven for wildlife while exploring the park's diverse plants and borders. You are welcome to enjoy a picnic on the grass or at a picnic bench. The site also offers seating areas and is a family-friendly space where dogs are welcome on leads.
