St Mirren FC (St Mirren Park)

St Mirren Football Club is a professional Scottish football team based in Paisley, Renfrewshire. Founded in 1877, the club currently competes in the Scottish Premiership and plays its home matches at St Mirren Park, an 8,000-capacity all-seater stadium. Known as "The Buddies" or "The Saints," the team is named after Saint Mirin, the patron saint of Paisley.

The club is steeped in history, having been a founder member of the Scottish Football League in 1890. They are the only Scottish side to have won the Anglo-Scottish Cup and recently returned to European competition in 2024–25. Visitors may find the team's traditional black and white striped shirts interesting, a design they were the first in the world to adopt back in 1884.

Today, visitors to the stadium can enjoy a modern sporting atmosphere at the ground, currently known as The Marbill Coaches Stadium. During a match, you might see the club’s famous mascots, the Pandas, including Paisley Panda and Junior P. Following their 2025 Scottish League Cup victory, the club continues to offer an exciting experience for fans of top-flight Scottish football.
