Montrose Beach features three miles of golden sands stretching from Montrose to the North Esk River. This family-friendly destination offers stunning views looking south toward the Scurdieness Lighthouse.
The beach is home to the quirky Traill Pavilion, built in 1913, which provides public facilities during peak times. Visitors can explore the length of the shore or view the fine North Water viaduct, which now serves as a scenic cycle path.
Families can enjoy the promenade, Seafront Splash play area, pools, and an amusement centre. The area also includes an ice cream parlour, pitch and putt, and a shop. Dogs are welcome to enjoy the outdoor space alongside their owners.
