Highland Rugby Football Club is an amateur rugby union club based at Canal Park. Founded in 1922, the club hosts a wide variety of teams ranging from "micros and minis" to senior squads, including the 1st XV and the 2nd XV, also known as the Raptors.
The club is a vibrant hub for the sport, having earned the SRU club of the month award and multiple league titles. Its commitment to growth is clear through its dedicated development officers and a modern 4G pitch and improved clubhouse, which were upgraded in 2017 to support its recent resurgence in the national leagues.
Visitors to Canal Park can experience the excitement of live rugby, including the annual Inverness City Sevens tournament. The venue also supports the wider sporting community, having hosted local football matches for Clachnacuddin F.C. and youth games for Inverness Caledonian Thistle.
