Florians Theatre
27 minute walk from Inverness station · Highlands and Argyll
The Florians Theatre is a dedicated amateur dramatics venue. Established in 1944, this "wee theatre" serves as the home for a local company that has been entertaining audiences for over 75 years.
The theatre holds a rich history, originally founded to entertain troops stationed in the town during World War II. It has recently undergone modern improvements, including the installation of an LED stage lighting system and newly re-upholstered seating, where visitors can see commemorative plaques dedicated to theatre supporters.
Visitors can enjoy approximately five varied productions each year, ranging from classic tales and 1970s sitcom adaptations to serious dramas. Whether attending a performance or choosing to join the company themselves, guests will find a welcoming community passionate about local drama and performance.
