Bridge of Allan Golf Club
29 minute walk from Bridge of Allan station · Stirling, Central and Fife

Established in 1895, Bridge of Allan Golf Club is an iconic 9-hole course located on the hill above a magnificently preserved Victorian Spa town. Designed by Old Tom Morris, this historic course is considered one of Scotland’s national treasures and was recently a finalist for Scotland’s best 9-hole course.
The course features unique elements such as quaint stone walls, crossing fairways, and delightful blind shots that offer a glimpse into the Victorian era. It is home to one of the toughest opening holes in Great Britain: a 223-yard par 3 that requires a 40-degree uphill climb over an old stone dyke.
Visitors can expect a challenging yet relaxing experience with no flat lies and the potential to go out of bounds on every tee shot. The setting provides breath-taking views of Stirling Town, the Trossachs, and the Forth Valley, making it a stunning place to enjoy a round of golf.
