Aberdeen Arts Centre

Aberdeen Arts Centre is a community-focused theatre and arts venue located on King Street in Aberdeen. Originally the North Parish Church, this Category A listed building was converted into an arts space in 1963. Today, it is operated by a volunteer-led charity dedicated to providing performing arts opportunities for people of all ages and backgrounds.

Visitors can enjoy performances in a 350-seater auditorium featuring an orchestra pit and two levels of seating. The venue hosts touring drama and musical productions, the Granite Noir crime writing festival, and a summer festival known as "The Arts Carnival." Beyond the stage, you can explore an exhibition area showcasing local and visiting art shows or participate in workshops for writers and actors.
