The Binn and Kinghorn Loch Circular Walk
6 minute walk from Burntisland station · Stirling, Central and Fife · Free entry

This circular walk begins in Burntisland and climbs steeply to the summit of The Binn, a prominent hill with spectacular views across the Firth of Forth, Edinburgh, and surrounding countryside. The route follows a clear grassy track along the escarpment before descending through woodland. It passes the overgrown ruins of Binnend Village, once home to shale oil workers. Continuing through farmland and a minor road, the walk leads to Kinghorn Loch before returning via tracks and quiet streets. Covering around 10.5 km, the route is varied and scenic.
