The Museum of Communication is a small museum run entirely by volunteers. It showcases a remarkable collection of communications technology spanning from Napoleonic-era optical telegraphy to early telephony, radio, television, radar, computing equipment, satellite apparatus, typewriters and more. Established from a university-based collection in the 1970s, the museum opened to the public in 2005. It offers public lectures and engaging exhibitions. Visitors are welcome on Wednesdays and Saturdays.
