St Michaels Golf Club

St Michaels Golf Club is a historic 18-hole course located on Gallow Hill near the village of Leuchars. Originally laid out in 1903 by the legendary Old Tom Morris and Hugh Hamilton, the site is home to a prehistoric settlement protected by Historic Scotland.

The landscape features a unique mix of wooded parkland and rolling heathland with a sandy base. Visitors can enjoy spectacular views across the River Eden toward the St Andrews skyline while navigating narrow fairways and subtle greens.

Golfers face an intelligent test, including the signature par-3 15th hole, "St Mikes." This picturesque hole demands nerve and accuracy due to its steep dips and guarding bunker. It is a rewarding experience for all abilities, offering some of the finest par-3 holes in Fife.
