Nairn Central Beach
16 minute walk from Nairn station · Highlands and Argyll · Free entry

Nairn Central Beach is a sandy beach that spans the area from the harbour to the swimming pool. The beach runs parallel to a promenade, providing a level surface for walking. Access for visitors is available on foot from the town centre.
Marram grass grows across the dunes that border the sand. Wildlife spotting is a frequent activity, as oystercatchers and seagulls can be seen along the shoreline. During the summer months, jellyfish are sometimes seen on the sand. Looking offshore, visitors can observe seals and dolphins in the water.
