Dunblane Museum

Located in The Cross, Dunblane Museum is a historic Category A listed building dating back to the early 17th century. Originally a townhouse, this site is situated immediately south of the 11th-century Dunblane Cathedral and has been open to the public since 1943.

Visitors can explore a vast collection spanning 4,000 years of local history. Notable highlights include one of the largest collections of communion tokens, genealogical records, and items relating to tennis players Andy and Jamie Murray. The museum's diverse exhibits were established to house artefacts from the cathedral and the surrounding area.

While wandering through the historic rooms and the modern two-storey exhibition hall, visitors can enjoy a space run entirely by volunteers. After viewing the various displays, you can browse the on-site gift shop.
