Queen of the South F.C. (Palmerston Park)

Formed in 1919 in Dumfries, Queen of the South F.C. is a professional Scottish League One club. Known traditionally as the Doonhamers, or more usually as "Queens," the team plays their home matches at Palmerston Park on Terregles Street.

This historic club is famously cited as the only league club in the UK mentioned in the Bible. The stadium itself features the tallest free-standing floodlights in Scotland at 85 feet high, as well as the highest remaining terrace in Scottish football.

Visitors can experience a welcoming, family-oriented atmosphere with a capacity for 8,690 fans. You might even spot the club mascot, a human-sized Border Collie named Dougie Doonhamer, who is a two-time mascot race champion.
