Pitlochry Church of Scotland

Pitlochry Church of Scotland is a Category A listed Presbyterian church located in the Tummel valley. Situated on Church Road, this prominent building is affectionately known as "Mount Zion" due to its position overlooking the village. It currently serves the local community and visitors as a thriving parish within the Church of Scotland.

The church is architecturally significant, featuring a unique blend of Romanesque, Victorian Gothic, and Byzantine styles. While the current building was completed in 1884, the congregation traces its spiritual history back to at least the 7th century. Notable features in the grounds include a monument to Alexander Duff, the first Church of Scotland missionary to India.

Visitors are welcome to attend Sunday morning worship at 10:00 am, with refreshments served following the service. The site offers a peaceful atmosphere to appreciate the historic architecture and its connection to the region's Christian heritage, which dates back to the time of the medieval Moulin Kirk and ancient Pictish activity.
