Perth Art Gallery is the principal exhibition space in Perth, Scotland. It is partly housed in the Marshall Monument, a structure built in memory of former provost Thomas Hay Marshall. As one of the United Kingdom’s oldest purpose-built museums, the gallery is a Category B listed building with an extension opened in 1935 by the future King George VI and Queen Elizabeth.
Visitors can explore a rich history, as the gallery stands on the former site of a 12th-century castle. Today, you can view a significant collection of works by John Duncan Fergusson and Margaret Morris. The gallery also features Natural History collections and an extensive display of works by John Everett Millais.
