Kingussie Camanachd Club

Kingussie Camanachd is a historic shinty team founded in 1893. It was recognised by the 2005 Guinness Book of Records as the most successful sporting team of all time due to its unprecedented dominance of the sport, including winning 20 consecutive leagues.

The club holds a legendary status in Scottish sport, having won the prestigious Camanachd Cup more times than almost any other team. It is famous for producing iconic players like Ronald Ross and Kevin Thain, and for its intense local rivalry with neighbours Newtonmore.

Visitors can head to the Dell, the club’s home ground which features a 100-seater stand and modern facilities. At this historic venue, you can experience the intensity of top-level shinty and witness the skills of a club that has achieved multiple "Grand Slams" by winning all four major trophies in a single season.
