This enjoyable circular walk starts and finishes in Kinghorn, following coastal trails toward Kirkcaldy. The shortest option covers about 6.5 miles (10.4 km) with roughly 640 ft (200 m) of ascent; longer variations reach 7.5 miles (12 km) or up to 10 miles (16 km) via higher ground, with ascents up to 785 ft (240 m) or 820 ft (265 m) respectively. Along the route you’ll pass landmarks such as Seafield Tower and the Kissing Trees. Terrain includes beach walking, road sections and unsurfaced muddy paths. The hike offers mixed coastal and woodland scenery.
