Insch Golf Club
14 minute walk from Insch station · Dundee, Aberdeen and North East

Records of golf at Dunnydeer Hill date back to before World War I, and the course moved to its current position around 1923. During World War II the War Department used this ground as a grenade range. Following the formation of the current committee, volunteers rebuilt a nine-hole course which opened in 1982. A clubhouse was created from temporary school accommodation in 1987. Between 1995 and 1996, twelve additional holes were added, leading to the official opening of the extended course on June 28, 1997.
The parkland course is set on undulating terrain and slopes along Valentine Burn and Dunnydeer. Its design incorporates trees and water hazards across the landscape. Visitors can take in views of Dunnydeer Hill from the grounds. Activities include golfing and dining, with a modern clubhouse opened in April 2004 providing a bar, cafe, and changing rooms.
