Explorers' Garden
12 minute walk from Pitlochry station · Stirling, Central and Fife · Free entry

Explorers' Garden is a woodland garden and performance space managed by Pitlochry Festival Theatre. It was built in the late 1990s through a partnership with the Royal Botanic Garden Edinburgh. The design follows the Theatricum Botanicum concept and commemorates plant hunters who collected plant species from across the globe.
Visitors can view specific plant life and attend art performances within the grounds. The woodland habitat features a pagoda, a pavilion, and an amphitheatre. Notable plant varieties include rare meconopsis that bloom in May and the Himalayan blue Poppy GSG Explorers, which is a variety specific to this site. The gardens are also used for private events and weddings.
Access to the gardens is available seasonally from April to October. Last entry is permitted at 4pm. Explorers' Garden is located within the Pitlochry Festival Theatre campus.
