Dalmeny Park Circular Walk

This is a 6-mile (around 9.7 km) walk that takes about 2.5 hours and starts at the Hawes Inn, passing under the impressive Forth Bridge. You’ll stroll along coastal paths where you might spot seals on the rocks and get great views of the islands in the Firth of Forth like Inchcolm and Inchmickery. As you continue, you’ll pass by Barnbougle Castle and enjoy sights of Dalmeny House, the elegant home of the Earls of Rosebery. The walk winds through countryside lanes and ends in the village of Dalmeny, where you can visit the historic 12th-century Norman-style parish church. It’s a lovely, varied walk blending nature, history, and beautiful views—all in one route.
