Crawford Priory & Lady Mary's Tomb Circular Walk
12 minute walk from Springfield station · Stirling, Central and Fife · Free entry

This pleasant 6.8-mile (10.8 km) circular walk winds through the gentle farmland of the Howe of Fife. It follows the Fife Core Path network, crossing fields and a serene pine- and larch-leaf-carpeted woodland. You pass under a railway bridge and walk alongside the River Eden before entering Pitlessie village. From there, the route climbs gently with views over flat farmland and distant hills. You then follow quiet tracks and paths back toward the dramatic ruins of Crawford Priory, fenced but still impressive. Optionally, you can add a 3 km detour to the atmospheric Lady Mary’s Tomb in nearby woodland.
